Have you ever been in a darkness so deep that you thought you might not come out of it? That was the state of the world prior to the birth of Christ. Darkness. Hopelessness. Despair.
But suddenly an unearthly light shone in the heavenly spheres and angels arrived to proclaim the miraculous event foretold by the prophets of old. The light dispelled the darkness.
That light still dispels darkness today. Your darkness. Mine.
In seeking the light we seek not just “a” savior, but we seek THE Savior. That enlightenment brings us out of the darkness and into the incomparable light that is Jesus Christ the Lord.
