God who originally breathed life into man who had fallen into sin and darkness, now breathes new unending life and light into us that we might carry His message. He sends us to carry that same message of forgiveness and grace to those around us not to be self-centered in ego but to be others-centered. Jesus says that if anyone is forgiven by your message of grace then they are forgiven.
That is the power of the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” John 20:21-23
