What are we putting into in a world that’s not meant to last forever? This world is simply the shadow of things to come…do you know the only thing that’s actually going to last for all eternity? Souls. That’s it.
So where are you investing your time, your energy, your treasure? Are you Rehoboam, just chasing after culture? Are you Solomon keeping the rules but lacking passion? Or are you David, imperfect but genuinely focused on pursing the things of God?
As the younger generation looks to the older one, do they see parents and mentors with sincere faith, striving to love the Lord and follow His ways?
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
