Life is valuable. Human life is uniquely valuable.

Even though the modern world focuses on the utility or quality of a life, that’s not a criteria that God values.

His perspective is communicated clearly and with no room for doubt – every human life has intrinsic value. Full stop.

It doesn’t matter how deface, debased or damaged a person emerges or becomes. Every single human life is a representation of the image of God and therefore worthy of respect.

²⁷ So God created man in his own image,
    in the image of God he created him;
    male and female he created them.

⁴ what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
    human beings that you care for them?^[a]
