The current reality is that Biblical Christianity is not popular, and popular Christianity is not Biblical. Let that sink in for a moment. If we’re really going to follow Christ and walk in His ways, we need to be prepared to sink deep into sound Biblical teaching and let it shape and form the very foundation of our being. That is what it means to become true disciples and not just fleeting converts.

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

We are ultimately broken people in desperate need of a Savior. When we begin at that point, we open ourselves to the possibility of true transformation.
