The darkness of our world cannot comprehend the light of Jesus Christ. It also can never, ever extinguish it! There is nothing that can overcome it or move it in any way.
The light of God’s grace is what we reflect on particularly in this Christmas season. Do we, like the shepherds, run across broken ground to seek its source? Do we, like the wise men, journey long and far to find its origin?
16 And I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
the rough places into level ground.
