Jesus spent much of his ministry teaching through parables − stories infused with relatable, everyday imagery with which the people could connect. Stories that illustrated both then and now that this world is not how it is supposed to be! Stories that infuse us with courage to strive for something greater than what we’re capable of on our own.
But in order to realize that courage, there has to be something within us that is drawn to Jesus’s teaching. Something that tunes into His voice above all the other confusing ones in our modern world.
On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables…
