God’s Word assures us that the day is coming for each of us when all suffering will cease. We may have to wait days, years, or even a lifetime to receive healing. But if we will identify with the One who drives back the darkness, then we’ll see the light. He has guaranteed it! When we truly understand this, we realize that even the healing we so fiercely desire is ultimately not about us. It’s really about the One who turns pain into purpose and suffering into something of significance. Only then can we say “Even while I suffer, even while I wait…I want You to get the Glory for my life.”
