Nehemiah’s ToolBox

They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.

Isaiah 61:4

The story of Nehemiah is one of a builder. A man who left a position of prominence and authority to help a nation of people recover their dignity by rebuilding their entire city wall. A city wall in that time was the most important line of defense and security, and a city without one was completely exposed to attacks of all kinds.

Nehemiah knew this. He responded to the need by rallying the people of Israel and organizing them to rebuild their wall. They worked as families, gradually rebuilding and restoring until it was completely renewed.

We’d like to see Nehemiah’s ToolBox do some of the same—rebuild, restore and renew. This new ministry is committed to tackling short-term projects that exceed the scope of a person’s resources and expertise. Projects that can make a world of difference. Projects that can bring renewal to someone’s life.
