Men’s & OASIS Women’s Bible Studies /// JourneySEEK Bible Studies for either men or women are offered on Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:30 P. There is also a Wednesday morning option for the OASIS Ladies’ Bible Study from 9:30-10:45 A. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. Onsite childcare is available for the Wednesday morning study. Register at the Welcome Center or RIGHT HERE. Questions? Contact us at journey@rockpointe.org.

Men of Courage & Women of Strength Discussion Groups  ///  These JourneySEEK discussion groups meet biweekly on Saturdays from 8 – 9:15 A. The next meeting date is Saturday, October 19. These separate JourneySEEK groups are for adult men and women who want to face challenges together and live lives of integrity and faith. No registration required – just show up!

 

 

ETHOS  ///  Are you 18-29 and looking to connect with others to encounter God and understand what it means to be His family? Join us on Sunday, October 20 at 6:30 P! ETHOS meets in the Dugout at Rockpointe Community Church – CLICK HERE for more.

 

OASIS Fill & Chill  ///  We’ve got the chill, you bring the fill! Come for a yummy chili dinner with the ladies on Friday, November 15 from 6:30 – 9:30 P! Connection Pastor Rob Markus will share a special message with us for the evening (you don’t want to miss this!). Feel free to bring your famous fall dessert or side dish. Or don’t. Come and enjoy guilt-free either way!
We are also collecting items to bless female students in the Osborn community at this event. Please bring a donation of deodorant, soap, body wash, or feminine products. Thank you!

Getting Ready for Marriage /// You’ve bought the ring and set the date…what’s next? Here at Rockpointe we believe it’s incredibly important to be prepared for your wedding both spiritually and emotionally! We’ve designed the Getting Ready for Marriage experience to help you along this journey. You’ll spend time viewing and discussing material designed to provoke engaging discussion about vital premarital issues. We also predict you’ll have some fun, too. This class is designed for couples engaged to be married and runs on Friday, October 18 from 6-9 P and Saturday, October 19 from 9 A – 4 P (both sessions required). Cost is $100 per couple. Child Dedication Celebration /// Our next Child Dedication Celebration is coming up on Sunday, November 17 at 12:30 P. If you are interested in participating, you must attend a required Information Session on Sunday, November 3 from 12:30-1 P. You will be able to register your child(ren) at that time as well as ask any questions you might have.

Membership Class  ///  We often hear people say that they walked through our doors here at Rockpointe and felt “at home.” Is that you? If so, we’d like to invite you to our Membership Class on Sunday, November 17 from 12:30-4 P. In it we’ll discuss Rockpointe’s history, values, governmental structure and vision for the future. You’ll meet other potential members and have an opportunity to ask questions. Interested? Register at the Welcome Center or RIGHT HERE. Cost is $10 each (lunch will be served).

Rockpointe Pantry /// Our Rockpointe Pantry shelves are always open for donations! If you’d like to donate shelf-stable groceries or personal care items, feel free to drop them off at The Pantry counter (north end of the Concourse). Take one of The Pantry cards from the main Welcome Center Info Spot for details including suggestions of needed items. The Pantry is a self-serve resource open for anyone who needs it. It is located at the north end of the Concourse.

Recycling Initiative /// If you don’t need to keep your bulletin or insert cards, please help us out by recycling them! Just drop them off at one of the baskets at the back of the sanctuary or at either balcony exit. And for all you “advanced recyclers,” check out the Paper Retriever in our north parking lot! We get cash back for all the tons (literally!) of paper that ends up in our Paper Retriever! Acceptable items include: office/school paper, newspaper, construction paper, magazines and catalogs, shredded paper (in plastic bags), junk mail, notebooks, and writing tablets. NO phone books, books, plastic, glass, metal, trash or cardboard. Thank you!
